Why we do this
Anyone from anywhere can hold a dollar for the first time.
It's not just a financial tool
For most of history, the financial system had a velvet rope. Born in the right country, with the right currency and the right bank, and you got stability, access, and a fair shot. Everyone else got inflation, fees, closed doors — and lectures about pulling themselves up.
Crypto — stablecoins in particular — cut that rope.
This is a revolution in who gets to participate. A person anywhere in the world can now hold a dollar for the first time. Not a promise of a dollar. An actual dollar, on their phone, under their own control. That has never been possible before, and it matters more than any price chart.
We're honest about the problems
The space is full of noise. Thousands of tokens that shouldn't exist. Exchanges that list anything that moves. We'll say so, plainly — the industry needs to clean up its own house.
But we won't let the mess obscure the mission. The answer to bad actors was never to lock regular people out. It was to build better rails and report honestly on them.
What we stand for
Privacy
Your money is your business. Full stop.
Self-custody
Your assets, your keys. Nobody else's permission slip required.
No gatekeeping
We're skeptical of rules sold as "investor protection" that somehow always protect the incumbents.
No hype, ever
News and analysis only. We never recommend investments, make calls, or publish price predictions.
What we do
We cover the stablecoin beat — the actual money layer of this revolution — practically and directly. The markets, the regulation, the on-chain flows. What it means for real people holding real dollars.
The timeline forgets by tomorrow. We write it down so it lasts — and so anyone can find it.
